Rockwell buys Clearpath including its AMR company OTTO Motors

Rockwell Automationhas acquired Ontario, Canada-based Clearpath Robotics, known for its prowess in autonomous robotics, including autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for industrial applications.

 This acquisition also encompasses Clearpath Robotics' industrial division, OTTO Motors, renowned for providing cutting-edge AMR Robotics .

The strategic integration of Clearpath Robotics and OTTO Motors into Rockwell Automation aligns with the company's vision of enhancing its capabilities in autonomous production logistics solutions.

 By acquiring these divisions, Rockwell Automation is not only expanding its portfolio but also reinforcing its position as a frontrunner in the integration of AMRs into manufacturing environments.
