K.Hartwall and Bosch Rexroth Forge New Partnership

Bosch Rexroth and K.Hartwall have announced a collaboration at this year's LogiMAT, more product range and common fleet management platform.

This partnership introduces a comprehensive transport solution combining Bosch Rexroth's AMR ACTIVE Shuttle and K.Hartwall's AGV A MATE® FreeLift.

The idea is to  offer a versatile range of transport options, from small load carriers to pallets, addressing a wide array of internal logistics needs.

The ACTIVE Shuttle excels in safely and flexibly transporting dollies in production environments, reaching even the most confined spaces with its sleek design.

On the other hand, the AGV A MATE® FreeLift is adept at handling larger, consolidated materials, demonstrating reliability and precision even in challenging conditions.

The A-MATE® Counter is a compact AMR with bidirectional drive and electric lift, ideal for lifting 1000kg up to 1100mm in every industrial setting.

The collaboration is marked by the launch of the ACTIVE Shuttle Management System (AMS) by Bosch Rexroth, a fleet manager compatible with VDA 5050 standards, ensuring seamless coordination and control of both the AMR and AGV systems.

In fact, K.Hartwall's and Bosch Rexroth vehicles will be fully controlled and coordinated by the AMS Software.

This specific  partnership isn't just theoretical; it's already proven its worth in various Bosch plants and other industrial settings.

The growing partnerships between AGV manufacturers and interoperability fleet management software providers highlight a clear response to customer demands.

Businesses are increasingly seeking ways to coordinate and manage different logistics products from a single platform for streamlined operations and improved efficiency.

AGV manufacturers collaborating with agnostic fleet management systems is becoming a strategic choice.

It opens up more market opportunities, as customers with mixed-brand fleets prefer a system that handles all brands.

In a rapidly evolving industry, adaptability is key.

By working with agnostic systems, manufacturers stay relevant and competitive, responding flexibly to market changes and customer demands for interoperability and flexibility.

This approach positions them not just as product suppliers, but as versatile solution providers.
